Job summary

World Class Industries, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Purchaser to join our Supply Chain team in the United States. You will manage daily purchasing activities, create and issue purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery across multiple commodities.

The role requires a high school diploma, a 4-year degree in a related field (or 2-year degree with equivalent experience) and 1+ years of supply chain/MRP exposure. On-site work at US locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration/Management or related field preferred.
• In lieu of 4-year degree, 2-year degree with equivalent work experience required.
• 2+ years Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook (required).
• 1+ years Supply Chain experience preferred.
• 1+ years MRP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily purchasing activities, including creating and issuing purchase orders for supplies, packaging, and parts across multiple commodities.
• Monitor open orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm deliveries and resolve issues while maintaining relationships.
• Investigate discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or delivery performance.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to support production needs and material availability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by following best practices and identifying purchasing-process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
