Job summary

World Class Industries is seeking a Purchasing professional to join our Supply Chain team in Iowa. The role involves creating purchase orders, monitoring orders, and working with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. On-site work at our locations in the US is required.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with a relevant degree or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years in supply chain and MS Office proficiency. MRP experience is a plus, and relocation to any US site may be considered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 2-year degree in a relevant field with equivalent work experience is required.
• 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration/Management or related field is preferred.
• 2+ years Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook experience required.
• 1+ years Supply Chain Experience preferred.
• 1+ years MRP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executing daily purchasing activities, including creating and issuing purchase orders for supplies, packaging, and parts across multiple commodities.
• Monitoring open orders and following up with suppliers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.
• Communicating regularly with suppliers to confirm deliveries and resolve issues while maintaining strong working relationships.
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or delivery performance.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with operations and supply chain teams to support production needs and material availability.
• Contributing to continuous improvement by following best practices and identifying opportunities to streamline purchasing processes.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements
