Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Procurement Specialist to implement procurement strategies under leadership of the Procurement Manager, coordinating local procurement of goods and services. You will work with Category Managers and business leaders to execute category strategies and measure supplier performance.

The role involves RFx coordination, cost-saving initiatives, and reporting savings while promoting safety and environmental policies across facilities in North America.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Detail-oriented with organizational and follow-up capabilities; analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, legal and others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with local management to anticipate procurement needs and optimize costs.
• Carry out RFx processes according to procurement policies.
• Coordinate local supplier procurement in assigned product lines or geographical area.
• Develop savings opportunities and report results per category guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.
