Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Procurement Specialist to implement local procurement strategies and coordinate supplier activities in Chicago. This hybrid role requires collaboration with Category Managers and Business leaders, contract execution, RFx processes, and KPI measurement.

You will drive local savings, ensure policy alignment, and support suppliers across plant operations. 3+ years in procurement, SAP knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 25% are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in procurement role with sourcing and supplier management.
• Experience implementing category strategies and RFx processes.
• Ability to write procurement contracts and analyse supplier performance.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork and communication capabilities.
• Travel up to 25% within U.S. and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational and tactical procurement in line with category strategy.
• Act as the liaison between country Category Management and operations.
• Support savings, supply efficiency, and process improvements.
• Analyze procurement data to identify savings opportunities.
• Negotiate with suppliers with Procurement Manager and Category Management.
• Ensure compliance with global/local policies and RFx initiation.
