Job summary

Amrize is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to define and align the strategy for sub-commodities within scope. You will become the subject matter expert for related sub-categories and will lead strategic sourcing activities across large capital projects.

You will develop frame agreements with key suppliers, drive cost savings, and guide cross-functional teams through RFI/RFP processes and complex contract negotiations. Travel is expected ~25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with at least 5 years of experience
• Master's degree preferred
• Field of Study includes Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or Engineering
• Experience in consultant, project management or sourcing for large capital expenditure activities
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP knowledge or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Define and align strategy for sub-commodities within scope
• Act as subject matter expert for related sub-commodities or suppliers
• Lead and execute sourcing processes for capital projects
• Develop frame agreements with main suppliers
• Achieve targets for spend coverage, compliance and benefits
• Lead cross-functional teams through sourcing activities
• Negotiate vendor contracts with stakeholders and Legal
• Drive and execute negotiation strategy while managing supplier performance
• Lead complex contract negotiations with cross-functional teams
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers
• Manage Capex activities in North America
