Amrize is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to define strategy for sub-commodities, lead procurement processes, and optimize capital expenditure across North America. You will act as SME for assigned categories and collaborate with legal, finance, and operations to maximize value from supplier contracts.

The role requires strong negotiation, cross-functional leadership and experience in large capital projects, with a focus on delivering cost savings and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or Engineering.
• Required Work Experience: Consultant, project management or sourcing experience in large capital expenditures activities.
• Proficient/Advanced in MS Office (Excel & PPT), Google Drive; basic SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and adhere to safety policies across environments.
• Develop and implement Category strategies for Global and Regional Procurement.
• Develop frame agreements with main suppliers in assigned categories.
• Achieve targets for strategic sourcing: spend coverage, compliance, benefits.
• Identify cost savings, supplier consolidation and bundling opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing activities including RFI/RFP processes and supplier selections.
• Provide SME support in contract negotiations with vendors.
• Drive and execute negotiation strategy with suppliers and manage performance.
• Lead complex contracts with cross-functional teams to optimize benefits.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to accelerate objectives.
• Develop processes to manage Holcim capex activities in North America.
