Job summary

Amrize Building Envelope is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee all aspects of procurement for capital equipment, building materials, and services. You will manage supplier relationships, strategic sourcing, and ensure timely, cost-effective acquisitions essential for the project.

You will lead cross-functional teams, negotiate favorable terms, and drive cost reduction while maintaining quality and supply chain efficiency. Occasional travel to project sites is expected as projects advance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, business, engineering)
• Minimum 5 years experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
• Certification in supply chain management or procurement is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and operations.
• Lead cross-functional teams to manage procurement projects end-to-end, on time and within budget.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, logistics, QA, and finance to forecast demand and ensure material flow.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contracts and metrics.
• Implement continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and EHS policies in procurement activities.
• Promote safety culture and ensure PPE protocols are followed on all sites.
