Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Material Planner Buyer in San Jose, CA for a 12-month contract on W2. The role requires 5+ years of purchasing experience, strong SAP and MRP knowledge, and excellent MS Excel skills. You will support manufacturing by timely procurement of materials to meet production plans.

Responsibilities include reviewing POs and delivery schedules, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with GMP/ISO guidelines while maintaining targeted inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years purchasing experience.
• Experience in medical device industry preferred.
• BS in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Procuring raw materials, components, equipment, tooling, and services to meet production schedules.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring supply of materials to support production.
• Review open POs, supplier confirmations, delivery schedules, and invoices for compliance.
• Generate cost savings through continuous improvement and supplier negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory and ISO guidelines.
