Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Procurement Specialist, Material Planner for the USA - New Albany location. This full‑time role interfaces with demand planners, the fulfillment site, and the direct program manager to ensure on-time material availability and efficient logistics.

Responsibilities include managing lead times, expediting SAP orders, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, with emphasis on safety and accurate training documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commitments from demand planning groups meet product lead times.
• Resolve delays in providing needed material within agreed timelines.
• Expedite SAP delivery orders with support from internal/external partners.
• Review customer build/ship plans to meet delivery dates.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive projects to completion.
• Manage dock operations and ensure safety procedures and training docs are up to date.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new material planners at the site.
• Coordinate with warehouse for inbound/outbound material and validation of inventories.
