Job summary

DSV in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Material Planner to serve as the liaison between the demand planners and the fulfillment site. You will manage lead times, coordinate POs, and ensure on-time delivery commitments across the supplier network.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2–4 years of related experience, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This is an on-site, full-time position within the Solutions division.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; high school diploma program or equivalent considered.
• Generally 2–4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commitments from demand planning groups align with product lead times.
• Resolve delays in providing needed material within agreed timelines.
• Manage lead times of POs placed for the customer and report lead time performance.
• Expedite POs as needed and ensure recommit processes are followed.
• Review backlogs and coordinate excusions with suppliers and review recommits.
• Monitor supplier build/ship plans to meet PO commit dates and document issues.
