Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Procurement Specialist, Material Planner in the USA. You will act as a liaison between the fulfillment program manager, demand planners and the DB Schenker BTS fulfillment site, ensuring on-time material availability and smooth PO execution.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2–4 years of related experience, with a focus on analytical problem solving and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level position requiring strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; 2–4 years of related experience.
• Diversity in experience and geographic location considered as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure commitments from demand planning groups meet product lead times.
• Resolve delays in providing materials within agreed timelines.
• Manage lead times of POs and report on commitments.
• Expedite POs as needed and ensure recommit process is followed.
• Review supplier build/ship plans to meet PO commitments and document issues.
