Job summary

DSV is seeking a Procurement Specialist Material Planner for the Lancaster, Ohio site. The role focuses on liaisoning with program managers, demand planners and the BTS site to ensure on-time material availability and to manage dock operations and training.

You will drive continuous improvement projects and guide material planning to meet commitments. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with about 5+ years of related experience, strong interpersonal and analytical skills,

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the direct fulfillment program manager, demand planners and BTS fulfillment site.
• Ensure commitments meet product lead times and report delays.
• Expedite SAP delivery orders with internal and external partners.
• Review build/ship plans to meet delivery dates and commitments.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead related projects.
