Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all commitments from the various demand planning groups are within the agreed upon product lead times.
• Resolve delays in providing the needed material within the agreed upon timeline.
• Manage the lead times of all delivery orders placed on behalf of the customer and report any issues with lead times.
• Expedite SAP delivery orders to the site with assistance from internal and external partners.
• Review the customers build/ship plans ensuring the plan will meet the commitments based on the delivery dates.
• Identify areas of opportunity to promote continuous improvement projects by proposing and leading a project to completion.
• Coordinate dock operations and ensure safety procedures, training docs are current, and material is tracked.
• Assist with onboarding for new material planners and help promote a smooth transition into the role.
