Job summary

DSV is seeking a Procurement Specialist, Material Planner in Atlanta to act as the liaison between the fulfillment program manager, demand planners, and the DSV fulfillment site. The role focuses on ensuring commitments align with lead times, resolving delays, and expediting POs to meet scheduled dates.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (preferred) and 2–4 years of related experience, with the ability to pass background checks and drug tests as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred, high school diploma program or equivalent required.
• Generally prefer 2–4 years of related experience.
• Must be able to pass any required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all commitments from demand planning groups align with product lead times.
• Resolve delays in providing required materials within the agreed timeline.
• Manage lead times of all POs placed for the customer and report on lead times.
• Expedite POs as needed and monitor backlogs and recommit processes.
• Review supplier build/ship plans to meet PO commit dates and identify causes of delays.
