Job summary

DSV is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Material Planner in Clarksville, TN. The role serves as a liaison among the demand planners, fulfillment site, and program manager to ensure timely material availability and PO alignment.

Responsibilities include expediting POs, monitoring lead times, reviewing backlogs, and reporting on commitment attainment. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between direct fulfillment program manager, demand planners and the DSV fulfillment site.
• Ensure commitments from demand planning groups meet product lead times.
• Expedite POs and manage lead times to meet commitments.
• Review backlogs, coordinate with suppliers, and report on recommits and expedited requests.
• Monitor PO lead times and institute corrective actions for delays.
