Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Manager of Procurement Management to lead end-to-end procurement activities, from strategic sourcing through contracting, with focus on supplier diversity and sustainability. The role emphasizes policy compliance, risk management, and value creation across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate will guide SRM strategies, oversee contract execution, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with category leads and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business/operations function.
• Experience managing teams and strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities from strategic sourcing to contracting, ensuring alignment with category strategy.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policy and support supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives.
• Drive supplier management and alignment to SRM strategy with Procurement Lead and Category Managers.
• Develop and implement procurement risk mitigation plans with Category Managers.
• Oversee source-to-contract and requisition-to-pay processes and identify process inefficiencies.
• Enable savings, manage leakage, and ensure supply continuity across procurement workflows.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the PSC team with a mindset of adaptability.
• Coach and evaluate a team of Specialists and set performance targets.
• Collaborate with Procurement leaders and business partners to define skills and staffing needs.
