Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manager of Procurement Management to lead end-to-end procurement, from sourcing to contracting, and ensure execution aligned with category strategy and policy compliance.

You will drive supplier relationships, manage SRM, and coordinate risk mitigation with Category Managers while coaching a team of procurement Specialists and partnering with business leaders on workforce needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 7 years in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience leading teams and understanding procurement operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement from strategic sourcing to contracting with alignment to category strategy.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and supplier diversity and sustainability goals.
• Drive supplier management and SRM alignment as defined by leads and category managers.
• Implement risk mitigation with category managers and flag procurement risks.
• Maintain excellence in source-to-contract and requisition-to-pay processes.
• Enable savings and supply assurance, monitor leakage across downstream processes.
• Administer continuous improvement initiatives and coach a procurement team.
• Partner with procurement leaders to define staffing and capability needs.
