Job summary

Gersh Autism in Huntington, New York seeks a Procurement Manager (Facilities) to lead a centralized procurement function across multiple sites. You will forecast demand, negotiate contracts, and optimize spend while standardizing processes and building strong vendor partnerships.

You will mentor a Purchasing Coordinator, oversee end-to-end procurement, manage new location openings, and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive procurement experience in multi-site/high-growth environments.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; proficient with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-paced setting; compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a centralized procurement strategy aligned with growth and operational needs.
• Forecast demand across campuses and programs using historical data.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive standardization and bulk purchasing.
• Lead vendor evaluation, onboarding, and contract negotiations.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement from requisition to delivery and reconciliation.
• Support new location openings with budgets and purchases.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Operations, Finance, and Program leadership to align priorities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
