Job summary

Amrize Building Envelope in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Procurement Manager to guide all purchasing for capital equipment, building materials, and services on our projects. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, preferably within a manufacturing environment or greenfield plant environment.
Certification in supply chain management or procurement is a plus.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and strategic sourcing principles.
Experience with capital projects including engineering and construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project goals and operational requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams to manage procurement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to onboard reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
Forecast demand and collaborate with engineering, production, logistics, quality assurance and finance to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and metrics.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and environmental policies and health and safety standards.
