Job summary

Amrize is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing for capital projects across one or two cement plants in North America. You will become the subject matter expert for assigned sub-commodities and drive value through supplier collaboration and structured contracting.

In this role you will develop frame agreements, lead cross-functional sourcing activities, negotiate complex contracts, and align category strategies with the Global and Regional Procurement organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or Engineering.
• Experience in large capital expenditure activities.

Responsibilities

• Defines and aligns the overall strategy for sub commodities within scope.
• Becomes subject matter expert for assigned sub commodities or suppliers.
• Maximizes benefits from strategic sourcing across capital projects.
• Leads and executes sourcing processes for capital projects.
• Develops frame agreements with main suppliers in assigned categories.
• Negotiates complex contracts and ensures supplier performance.
