Job summary

Envision, Inc. in Farmers Branch, TX is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing for raw materials and services.

You will supervise the Purchasing Department, manage contracts, pricing, and vendor relations, while applying data-driven methods to improve procurement and sales outcomes. The role requires 5+ years in purchasing (government contracting preferred), strong Excel/database skills, and the ability to guide a team toward best-in-class procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred; however, a combination of education and experience is acceptable.
• Minimum of 5 years purchasing experience with government contracting preferred and supervisory experience.
• Advanced Excel and database experience required.
• Cost accounting and EDI experience helpful.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute strategic sourcing for all raw material and service purchases.
• Oversee daily operations of Purchasing Department: purchasing, pricing, inventory management, distribution, vendor negotiations, and contract administration.
• Use analytical methods and tools to understand, predict, improve procurement and sales.
• Develop RFP processes for new business opportunities and suppliers.
• Supervise direct reports: negotiate contracts, analyze data, and manage pricing to protect margins.
• Translate product and business requirements into detailed specs for manufacturing.
• Maintain supplier risk assessments and report to vendors.
