Job summary

Envision, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing for raw materials and services, oversee the Purchasing Department, and use analytics to optimize procurement and sales.

The role requires supervising two direct reports, negotiating with vendors, and implementing efficient procurement processes to improve margins while maintaining compliance and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in purchasing and/or government sales, with gov contracting preferred.
• 2 years supervisory experience.
• Data analysis experience required.
• Advanced Excel and databases experience required.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment of strategic collaboration with suppliers.
• Implement MRP tools and reporting structure.
• Ensure supplier risk is proactively understood through continuous evaluation and reporting to vendors.
• Provide guidance to team to ensure continual analysis of the most efficient ordering process, vendor performance and pricing to attain best-in-class procurement processes.
• Translate product and business requirements into detailed specifications to support the manufacturing operations.
• Develop RFP process for new business opportunities and potential suppliers.
• Supervise direct reports in contract terms, data analysis, price negotiations, and RFQ processing.
• Develop new, and improve existing purchasing procedures and policies, communicating to departments, vendors and staff.
