Job summary

Pacific Federal Management is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to manage sourcing, negotiations, and purchasing while coordinating movement of goods to ensure timely delivery. The role involves supplier liaison, inventory tracking, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The position requires coordinating with the Warehouse Specialist, maintaining records, and optimizing procurement and logistics processes to support operations and project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; one year of relevant experience required.
• Strong understanding of procurement and logistics processes, supplier management.
• Strong understanding of international shipping procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure goods and services in accordance with company needs and standards.
• Negotiate and administer purchase agreements with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Specialist to track inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
• Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers, address inquiries and quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory in tracking systems.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods and materials.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including scheduling, documentation, and communication with carriers and suppliers.
• Track and monitor shipments, addressing delays and providing updates to relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, safety, and customs regulations (local and international).
• Prepare reports and analyze logistics performance data to support decision-making and process improvements.
