A highly skilled and strategic Procurement Manager to lead and manage the procurement activities for CSS Material and Electronic Systems suppliers. The role will drive our procurement strategy, optimize supplier relationships, support R&D innovation, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials for the CSS business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, with 4 years in procurement focusing on components and raw materials.
• Procurement experience with Electrophysiology-related components/products.
• Proven track record in developing/exec procurement plans in manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier contract management.
• Ability to engage with leadership within J&J.
• Analytical/problem-solving abilities with data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership.
• Track record in building teams and shaping organization structure.
• Strong Credo values.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement category strategies to meet goals.
• Supplier Management: Identify and manage supplier relationships aligning with quality standards.
• Negotiation: Lead contract and pricing negotiations with favorable terms and risk management.
• Cost Management: Monitor spend and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• NPD Management: Identify supplier innovations for new product development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with EM Make, R&D, VSL, Engineering, QA, Finance to support EP/NV strategy.
• Market Analysis: Research industry trends and supplier performance.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure policy and regulatory compliance in procurement.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team.
