Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech, a leader in healthcare innovation, is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for Electrophysiology and Neurovascular components. Located in New Brunswick, NJ, this role will drive procurement strategy, optimize supplier relationships, and support R&D pipelines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and excellent negotiation and team-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant professional work experience, 5+ years in procurement with focus on Electrophysiology components and raw materials.
• Experience developing and executing strategic procurement plans in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies and plans to meet goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic supplier relationships in line with quality standards.
• Lead negotiations for contracts and pricing, managing risk and ensuring favorable terms.
• Monitor procurement spend and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify and bring innovative suppliers to support NPD in Electrophysiology.
• Collaborate with EM Make, R&D, VSL, Engineering, QA, Finance to support EPNV strategy.
• Conduct market analysis to stay informed on trends and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements across procurement activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
