Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead CSS Material and Electronic Systems supplier activities. The role drives procurement strategy, optimizes supplier relationships, supports R&D, and oversees a substantial $100MM spend to enable EP/NV growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement within regulated manufacturing, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, with 4+ years in procurement, focusing on components and raw materials.
• Procurement experience with electrophysiology components or related products.
• Proven track record in developing and executing strategic procurement plans in manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation skills and supplier contract management.
• Ability to engage at leadership level with suppliers and within J&J.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning: develop and implement category strategies to meet goals.
• Supplier management: identify, evaluate, and build relationships with suppliers.
• Lead negotiations for contracts and pricing with risk and compliance in mind.
• Cost management: monitor spend and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• NPD management: identify innovative suppliers for new product development.
• Cross-functional collaboration with EM Make, R&D, VSL, Engineering, QA, Finance.
• Market analysis: stay informed on industry trends and supplier performance.
• Compliance and risk management; lead a high-performing procurement team.
