Job summary

Veracode is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our procurement lifecycle, negotiate supplier terms, and drive cost efficiencies across software, SaaS, and services. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in procurement with at least 3 years leading a procurement function, deep experience with Concur and NetSuite, and a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and professional procurement experience are required.
• 7+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or purchasing.
• At least 3 years leading or owning a procurement function.
• Experience negotiating complex supplier agreements and managing vendor relationships.
• Experience supporting technology organizations (SaaS, cybersecurity, or software).
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and spend management.
• Hands-on with Concur for procurement workflows and expense management.
• Proficient in NetSuite purchasing, vendor management, and related processes.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's procurement function, ensuring efficient, compliant purchasing practices.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for software, SaaS, technology, professional services, and indirect spend categories.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, IT, Security, and business stakeholders to negotiate favorable commercial terms while mitigating risk.
• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle from vendor selection through contract execution and renewal.
• Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategic vendor relationships.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and procurement automation.
• Develop procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational effectiveness.
• Analyze spend data and provide reporting, metrics, and recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional procurement initiatives and provide guidance to team members and stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management activities.
