Job summary

Verisign is seeking an experienced Technology Sourcing and Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and procurement for IT hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services, and related technology categories.

The role requires driving competitive bidding, evaluating supplier proposals, and negotiating commercial terms while partnering with finance, legal, risk, and technology teams to align procurement with business objectives. Hybrid work is supported from Reston, VA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related progressively responsible experience leading strategic sourcing and contracting initiatives across various spend categories.
• At least 5 years of experience in technology sourcing and procurement, ideally in a tech-driven environment.
• At least 2 years of leading complex sourcing and contracting initiatives on enterprise software agreements.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills with data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Leads the execution of strategic sourcing and competitive bidding initiatives, including spend and data analysis, drafting RFPs, evaluating proposals, and negotiating with suppliers.
• Collaborates with stakeholders on business and technical requirements throughout the procurement process.
• Leads negotiation of commercial terms with suppliers.
• Maintains documentation including sourcing assessments, supplier performance, and compliance metrics.
