Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement Leader serving as a strategic partner to the Food, Burt’s Bees, and Brita units. You will be accountable for developing and executing procurement strategies that deliver sustainable value, cost competitiveness, supply assurance, risk mitigation, and sustainability goals across direct materials including raw materials and packaging.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience within complex, global, matrixed organizations.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience with direct materials procurement including raw materials and packaging.
• Proven success developing category strategies, sourcing initiatives, supplier transitions, and large-scale negotiations.
• Experience delivering value through cost optimization, productivity improvements, risk mitigation, and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic procurement leader to BU and Supply Chain leadership.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with growth objectives and operational needs.
• Own annual productivity goals, cost savings programs, and financial risk planning.
• Lead multi-year value creation pipelines through sourcing, demand management, and supplier transitions.
• Lead strategic sourcing, negotiations, and contract management across direct material categories.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships focused on cost, quality, innovation, sustainability, and supply assurance.
• Drive supplier performance management, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through continuity planning and dual-sourcing.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, R&D, Marketing, Operations, Planning, and Quality.
• Coach and develop a high-performing procurement team and governance processes.
• Champion procurement excellence through AI-enabled insights and digital tools.
