Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking an Associate Director of Category Procurement for Printing & Specialty Packaging to lead global strategies across $350 million in spend. You will manage 125 suppliers and partner with cross-functional teams to drive cost, quality, innovation, and sustainability across brands.

In this role, you will develop category plans, use AI and analytics to improve operations, and mentor three direct reports while aligning with corporate goals and supply continuity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in procurement or supply chain with leadership experience.
• Experience in packaging procurement within CPG/manufacturing.
• Proficiency with AI, automation, analytics or decision-support tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategy for Printing & Specialty procurement.
• Identify market trends, supplier capabilities and competition.
• Establish long-term supplier partnerships and drive innovation.
• Use AI, automation and analytics to reduce manual work and improve service.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure continuity and cost savings.
• Conduct annual performance reviews with strategic suppliers.
• Lead cost management and value optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, R&D, Packaging, Marketing, Manufacturing.
• Support sustainability initiatives and responsible sourcing.
• Advise internal stakeholders on market trends and supplier opportunities.
