Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement Business Leader to serve as the primary strategic partner to Food, Burt’s Bees, and Brita units. You will lead end‑to‑end procurement strategies for direct materials, manage over $200 million in external spend, and guide cross‑functional teams to deliver sustainability, cost competitiveness, and supply assurance.

You will drive multi‑year value creation, manage supplier relationships, and execute major cross‑functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in procurement and strategic sourcing within global, matrixed organizations.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience with direct materials procurement (raw materials, packaging).
• Proven success developing and executing category strategies, sourcing initiatives, and large-scale negotiations.
• Experience managing global supplier networks balancing cost, quality, service, sustainability and supply assurance.
• Strong leadership and executive collaboration across Finance, R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic procurement leader and trusted advisor to BU and Supply Chain leadership.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business priorities and operational needs.
• Own annual productivity goals, cost savings programs, budget assumptions, and financial risk planning.
• Lead strategic sourcing activities, complex commercial negotiations, and contract management across direct material categories.
• Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships focused on cost, quality, innovation, sustainability, and supply assurance.
• Drive supplier performance management, governance, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through business continuity planning and dual‑sourcing strategies.
• Lead supply recovery efforts, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to maintain continuity of supply and quality.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing procurement team and drive accountability.
• Champion procurement excellence by leveraging digital tools, analytics and AI-enabled insights.
