Job summary

Aypa Power, a Blackstone portfolio company, is a leading developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable projects. We seek a procurement leader to drive sourcing for BESS and solar equipment, manage key supplier relationships, and negotiate complex contracts to support EPC and project transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of procurement experience with progressive responsibility.
• Minimum of three (3) years in utility-scale renewables or similar procurement.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to understand equipment specs and conduct technical discussions with suppliers.
• Experience supporting EPC and supply contracts and knowledge of U.S. power markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for BESS and solar equipment, including RFPs and contracts.
• Develop strategies to optimize price, delivery, and risk.
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct negotiations to closure.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Development to capture requirements in contracts.
• Drive procurement efficiency and supply chain resilience.
