Job summary

FlexGen is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead global sourcing for Battery Energy Storage Systems. You will manage cross‑functional teams, drive supplier selection, and optimize terms with key vendors.

The role requires strategic sourcing expertise, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of BESS components and supply chain dynamics. A hands-on leader will steer end‑to‑end procurement and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (supply chain, engineering, or business).
• 5-7 years in procurement or supply chain management, with 3+ years in energy storage or renewables.
• Strong negotiation, cost management, and strategic sourcing experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for BESS projects across global sites.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement of batteries, inverters, enclosures and peripherals.
• Lead supplier audits, negotiate high-value contracts, and manage supplier performance.
• Track cost savings, delivery Timeliness, and quality metrics; report to senior management.
• Mentor junior buyers and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
