Job summary

Vertice is seeking a Principal Procurement Manager to own strategic relationships with high-value clients and drive sourcing plans for private equity-backed accounts. You will negotiate directly with major SaaS vendors, leveraging Vertice’s AI insights to improve outcomes across tech stacks.

You will partner with C-suite stakeholders, shape commercial strategy, and mentor a team to raise delivery standards, while leading end-to-end procurement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement consulting.
• Technology and SaaS category management experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication with C-suite stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Account Ownership of Vertice's most valuable client relationships.
• Engage with C-suite and senior stakeholders to align requirements with tech strategy.
• Develop and execute enterprise sourcing strategies across large spend areas.
• Lead AI-powered negotiation processes and sharpen pricing benchmarks.
• Mentor junior team members to raise delivery standards.
