Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Procurement Sr. Manager to lead a large team in sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers for outsourced services. You will shape complex procurement strategies across global stakeholders and drive policies and playbooks.

Role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, professional certifications, and strong leadership, analytical, and math skills. Compensation includes a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility required.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for complex financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development; conduct evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities; set schedules and cross-train staff.
• Assist with development of company-wide policies, playbooks, and organizational materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute strategy at local, regional, and global levels.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts for large quantities of goods and services.
• Oversee contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals; inform management of changes.
• Manage supplier and contractor certification; review vendor performance at sites.
• Mentor on outsourcing practices and manage issues across diverse locations and cultures.
• Review RTFs and select solutions; approve contracts with national and regional providers.
• Act as a key contact for utilization management and coordination with outside procurement solutions.
• Lead by example in CBRE RISE values and align with departmental plans.
• Apply broad business knowledge to achieve team objectives and solve complex problems.
• Identify and improve processes and standards within the discipline.
