Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a procurement-focused professional to manage purchasing of production materials, optimize supplier performance, and maintain stock levels to support continuous manufacturing.

You will collaborate with sourcing, accounting, design, and production teams to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective purchases. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business or related field and at least three years of materials management and manufacturing experience, with ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
• Three+ years of experience in materials management is required.
• Three+ years of experience in manufacturing is required.
• Experience with ERP systems is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship is required.

Responsibilities

• Purchase the highest quality material at the lowest possible price and in the correct amounts.
• Develops and ensures all elements of the purchase commitment are completed with proper approvals.
• Reviews requisitions for accuracy and completeness, prepares and processes assigned purchase orders.
• Monitors inventory levels; reorders and purchases items needed for inventory replenishment to ensure on-time delivery.
• Expedites (or de-expedites) deliveries and tracks shipments to ensure timely arrival.
• Confer with staff, users and suppliers to discuss defective or unacceptable goods and determine corrective action.
• Provide material cost and availability information to estimating, sales and engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain rapport with suppliers and Panelmatic teammates.
• Assists in annual physical inventory and other related duties.
