Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead equipment procurement for EPC projects in the 5–150 MW solar and storage space. You will coordinate with development, engineering, and project management to source long‑lead items, manage RFQ/RFP processes, and negotiate with suppliers.

The role requires 5–7 years in procurement or related fields, a four‑year degree, and strong vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of procurement, supply chain, or project controls experience in solar, energy storage, or construction.
• Four‑year technical or business college degree preferred.
• Background in contract administration or legal coordination on equipment supply agreements is preferred.
• Experience in distributed generation EPC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement of long‑lead equipment for EPC projects (PV modules, inverters, BESS, transformers).
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management and SMEs to identify long‑lead items and initiate procurement.
• Track open POs from issue to delivery; escalate delivery risks to project management.
• Maintain portfolio PO records by project, vendor, date, and status.
• Collaborate with strategic procurement on platform‑level vendor discussions or negotiations.
• Review nationwide raw material pricing trends and advise on purchase strategy.
• Collaborate with project management on delays due to shortages.
