Job summary
Geronimo Power, LLC in Bloomington, MN seeks a Procurement Category Manager for Solar PV modules and wind equipment to drive sourcing strategy across utility-scale projects. This role will own the end-to-end procurement process, aligning planning, bidding, contracting, delivery support, and closeout with Engineering, Legal, and Finance to optimize total cost and project schedules.
Strong negotiation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Qualifications
- Five+ years of strategic sourcing or category management experience.
- Direct PV module sourcing and wind equipment procurement experience.
- Strong analytical skills using ERP/procurement systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage multi-year category strategies and sourcing calendars.
- Lead RFPs, negotiations, and commercial evaluations.
- Coordinate with Engineering, EPC, Legal, and Finance on supplier decisions.
- Monitor pricing, supplier capacity, and supply chain risks.
- Track milestones, deliveries, and warranty matters across projects.
