Job summary

Geronimo Power seeks a Manager, Construction Projects in Bloomington, MN to lead utility-scale renewable energy construction from pre-construction through turnover to Operations. You will own budgets, schedules, contracting, and field execution while collaborating with Development, Permitting, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams.

The role requires 8+ years in construction/project delivery, a relevant bachelor's degree, strong financial and leadership skills, and the ability to travel up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field or equivalent
• 8+ years of progressive construction/project delivery experience
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, field execution, risk and quality

Responsibilities

• Lead execution activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects from pre-construction through commercial operation
• Own budgets, bid processes, contracting strategy, project schedules, forecasts, and field execution oversight
• Coordinate with Development, Environmental & Permitting, Engineering, Finance and Operations teams
• Manage relationships with construction managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and financial partners
• Oversee design standards, construction criteria, documentation requirements and quality-control expectations
• Ensure permit conditions and field-staking needs are satisfied
• Provide oversight and quality control during turnover to Operations
• Travel 30-40% as project needs require
