Geronimo Power in Bloomington, MN, seeks a Senior Manager, EPC Project Procurement to lead sourcing, procurement, and commercial execution for EPC services on utility-scale renewable energy projects. You will own end-to-end procurement strategy, contractor qualification, bids, negotiations, and supplier performance to ensure safe, cost-effective delivery.

This role requires 8+ years in EPC procurement and complex contracting, with a strong track record in solar, wind, or energy storage projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in EPC procurement, strategic sourcing, construction contracting, or commercial contract negotiation.
• Experience leading EPC procurement and contracting for utility-scale solar, wind, or energy storage projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Experience supporting utility-scale solar, wind, and/or energy storage development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, with accuracy in contracts and costing.
• Ability to manage multiple large contracts simultaneously and negotiate complex terms.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead EPC procurement strategy for utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects from development through execution.
• Develop and manage EPC contractor sourcing strategy, prequalification, bids, and capacity planning.
• Develop multi-year procurement strategy for 1 GW/year project pipeline.
• Monitor market trends, policy changes, and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to optimize performance and reduce LCOE.
• Lead, coach, and develop Procurement Managers and Specialists.
• Direct EPC RFPs, prequalification, bid evaluation, and award recommendations.
• Lead complex EPC contract negotiations including terms, schedule, changes, and warranties.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, legal, finance, and project controls on procurement matters.
• Maintain supplier performance scorecards and lessons learned.
• Ensure procurement agreements meet safety, cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.
