Placements24 is seeking a Junior Purchasing Assistant to support procurement operations in a hybrid role based in Upington, Northern Cape. You will process orders, liaise with suppliers, maintain records, and aid inventory management, contributing to efficient material sourcing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Qualification in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and strong administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing purchase requisitions and generating purchase orders.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and track deliveries.
• Maintain purchasing records, including invoices and receipts.
• Support procurement team with supplier information and performance data.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocktaking.
