Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System is seeking a Procurement Specialist to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement while maintaining compliance and managing supplier relationships. You will oversee tooling, inventory and raw material quality, manage projects, and closely work with customers.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor supplier performance, and implement sourcing strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience with material / vendor management.
• Experience with seating manufacturing is a plus.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure materials meet specifications and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of projects and supplier communications.
• Monitor supplier performance with supplier audits, onboarding, and performance evaluations, resolving issues and concerns.
• Analyze industry and demand trends, material cost fluctuations, and potential supply chain risks; support sourcing strategies.
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings.
• Monitor inventory to ensure the flow of goods remains positive.
• Coordinate with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages or late deliveries.
