Job summary

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System, Llc is seeking a Costing Specialist in West Point, GA to develop and manage supplier relations, toolings, inventory, and raw material costs. You will lead projects, report findings, and collaborate with Hyundai and Kia Motors to optimize seating system costs.

The role requires 3+ years in purchase management, proficiency with SAP and MS Office, and bilingual communication in Korean and English. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in procurement/engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years' industry experience in purchase management.
• Understanding in shipping and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyzes technology trends of the Seating System for design and development of new auto seat parts.
• Engineering order from customer reflection on seat (Hyundai and Kia Motors).
• Value Analysis /Value Engineering by understanding Assembly Process of Seating System.
• Forecast a projected cost and budget report as required by the company.
• Comprehensive report analysis during and end of each projects.
• Implement strategies in minimizing cost to maintain the company's forecasted budget.
• New product development programs, engage with product management, engineering, and quality of suppliers.
• Maintaining strategic sourcing relationship and developing strong partnerships with suppliers.
• Understanding of manufacturing and affiliate supply processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Costing Specialist

Full Time West Point, GA, US

Summary of Position:

Costing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing suppliers on every aspect of tooling, inventory, and quality of raw materials. Responsibility also includes managing projects, reporting/presenting and closely working with Customers (Hyundai, Kia Motors).

Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
