Job summary

Howmet Aerospace seeks a Senior Procurement Manager in Fullerton, CA, to lead daily procurement operations at the site, oversee the procurement team, and drive supplier negotiations and contract execution. You will collaborate with senior operations, finance, quality, engineering, and HR to optimize performance and supplier relations.

The role requires extensive experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment, strong leadership, and the ability to implement process improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement Management.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Travel requirement of ~20%.
• U.S. work authorization is required and ITAR compliance applies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day procurement activities at the site.
• Assign workload and manage buyers’ performance; negotiate supplier contracts.
• Source, negotiate, contract and execute agreements to fulfill day-to-day needs.
• Drive process improvements and enhance procurement capabilities.
• Support commodity management and supplier integration initiatives.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Quality, Engineering and HR for performance goals.
