Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Buyer to handle procurement and inventory control across diverse product lines. You will assemble requisitions and purchase orders, coordinate with departments on requirements, and maintain relationships with multiple vendors to optimize cost and delivery Timelines.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of distribution or customer service experience, strong Excel skills, and an understanding of inventory calculations.

Qualifications

• 2 years distribution or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to forecast/inventory modeling.

Responsibilities

• Assemble requisitions, purchase orders, and special orders from all sources; coordinate with departments on requirements and delivery terms.
• Maintain vendor relationships; obtain quotations; perform price and terms comparisons.
• Assist with pricing negotiations and supplier terms; manage credits and returns.
• Update ERP with pricing and item data; provide information to internal/external customers.
