Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of purchasing, inventory control, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing procedures for raw materials and total product cost concepts.
• Experience managing inventory levels and cost-control strategies.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Kanban systems.
• Proven contract negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.
• Knowledge of UL and ISO-9000 quality standards.

Aufgaben

• Procure materials, parts, and supplies in a cost‑effective and timely manner while ensuring quality standards.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in alignment with contracts and policies.
• Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure best overall cost while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve quality, reduce costs, and optimize inventory levels.
• Work with finance to ensure accurate and timely invoice payments.
• Utilize procurement tools to minimize total purchasing costs while maintaining efficiency.
• Resolve defective material issues by coordinating with users, vendors, and customers (DMRs).
• Process Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests related to quality issues.
