Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or engineering.
• 3–5 years in purchasing or inventory control.
• Strong knowledge of raw materials purchasing and total product cost concepts.
• Experience managing inventory levels and cost-control strategies.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Kanban systems.
• Proven contract negotiation skills with favorable terms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP or ERP/MRP experience.
• Knowledge of UL and ISO-9000 quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, parts, and supplies cost-effectively while ensuring quality standards.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders aligned with contracts and policies.
• Evaluate supplier quotations to balance cost, quality, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers for cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Work with finance to ensure accurate invoice payments.
• Utilize procurement tools to minimize total purchasing costs.
• Resolve defective material issues with users, vendors, and customers (DMRs).
• Process RMA requests related to incoming quality issues.
