Weasler Engineering Inc in Wisconsin seeks a Senior Buyer to execute and improve standard purchasing processes across global supply chains, managing procurement, supplier relations, transportation and inventory to meet customer needs.

Reporting to the Materials Manager, the role requires a high-energy, self-motivated professional with 5+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and ERP/MRP skills. APICS certification is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline; experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years in purchasing roles with supplier management.
• APICS certification or training is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Execute tactical buying to support a global supply chain.
• Communicate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams.
• Pursue new materials, suppliers, and processes for quality and cost.
• Support crisis management and root-cause analysis.
• Facilitate supplier status reviews and identify plan obstacles.
• Develop processes to optimize inventory and reduce carrying costs.
• Identify PPV and inventory opportunities; manage PPV projects.
• Build strategic relationships across all management levels.
• Support plant safety rules and safety observations.
• Drive KPIs and plant metric targets.
• Enable business growth through reliable execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
