Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Procurement Program Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for EPCM Data Center projects. You will lead procurement teams, manage subcontracting, supplier quality, expedited delivery, and materials management to achieve safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

You’ll drive procurement strategy, compliance with contract requirements, and collaboration across engineering, commercial, and operations groups, potentially serving as Project Procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years procurement experience in EPCM, EPC, engineering, or large capital projects.
• Proven experience leading procurement professionals and managers.
• Strong communication skills interfacing with client.
• Experience supporting large capital projects from planning through closeout.
• Understanding of EPCM delivery models and procurement’s role in cost/schedule/quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of procurement professionals on a large EPCM Data Center project.
• Provide strategic oversight of procurement operations on large Data Center projects.
• Serve as Project Procurement Manager for large, complex capital projects when required.
• Develop and execute project procurement strategies aligned with client objectives and project plans.
• Drive procurement performance through subcontract administration, purchasing, supplier management, expediting, and quality surveillance.
• Ensure procurement activities meet contractual, procedural, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with project teams to support successful delivery.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier relationship management.
• Monitor procurement metrics related to cost savings, schedule, and risk.
