Job summary

The Division of Administrative Services in West Virginia seeks a Procurement Specialist to execute full-performance level purchasing for agencies under the DHS and DAS. Under supervision, you will write, review, publish, evaluate and award bids within deadlines, monitor contracts, and track performance.

You’ll implement changes for renewals and price adjustments as needed. You will assist with sourcing through market research, determine cost-effective procurement methods, coordinate deliveries

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience as described.
• Two years of procurement experience in a centralized purchasing function.
• Experience substituting education for experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, publish, evaluate and award bids for goods and services.
• Monitor and maintain awarded contracts and ensure compliance with terms.
• Implement contract changes for renewals, price adjustments or other terms.
• Assist with market research and determine cost-effective procurement methods.
• Coordinate delivery with customer agencies and vendors and function as PCard holder.
